The former student David Ferriz’s ‘King Lucas’ video game will be part of Nintendo’s e-shop

Starting February 21st, the Nintendo Switch e-shop will add in its catalog one of the creations of Devilish Games, a company located in Villena that co-founded the illustration ex-student David Ferriz.

The video game – created in 2016 for PC – is about a divorced king who loses his daughters inside the castle where he lives. It has more than 1000 rooms in constant transformation that progressively increase the difficulty of the mission.

It is not the first Devilish Games project to be developed for Nintendo, since in 2018 it has already happened with ‘Path to Mnemosyne’. In addition, this game received last year the Valencian Audiovisual Award for ‘Best Video Game’.

‘Onirike’, the video game in which the ex-student of Animation Alicia Flor participates

One of the projects the company Villenense prepares for this 2020 is the video game ‘Onirike’ in which also works as a 3D modeler and animator the ex-student of the EASDAlcoi Alicia Flor. “It’s an original adventure video game, puzzle and 3D platforms that develops super action in an intricate open world”, explained on their website.

“Although the ‘Onirike’ project was born as such in April 2018, in reality its germ is much older and goes back to 2004, when I was still a student and was starting to work on my final project of the Alcoy School of Art and Design,” Says Ferriz.

It is expected to see the light for PC in September 2020 and has been a finalist at the Valencia Indie Summit Awards in March.
