Styling showcases their children’s fashion designs.

The second year form Styling Cycle students have mounted a small exhibition of prototypes carried out in their Modeling subject. These are different types of dresses and trousers oriented to a children’s audience that can be seen on the -3 floor.

This project, entitled ‘A cada uno lo suyo’, has also been used by the collaboration of fashion designer Alicia Mazón, creative director of the alicantina firm Mantisas and designer of the Levi’s brand. Mazón has ceded some of her personal textile prints used in the latest edition of Alicante Fashion Week, which the students have included in their proposals.

In this way, prototypes have been made with classic lines and silhouettes combined with modern and bolder prints consistent with the current taste and sensitivity. In addition, the project has appropriated motifs and elements of the kitsch world to rescue them in current key with a camp attitude.

he exhibition also aims to heat engines for the next edition of FIMI (International Children’s and Youth Fashion Fair), where students will participate with these and more proposals.
