Next Thursday, May 11th, a Neuland calligraphy workshop will be given at the Escola d’Art i Superior de Disseny d’Alcoi, by the graphic designer specialized in ‘custom lettering’ and calligraphy, Joan Quirós.
This 8-hour workshop will start at 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. when will be a stop to have lunch; and it will finish with an afternoon session from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Quiròs, who currently moves professionally between Valencia and London, has worked with Front Magazine, among others, for which he did a calligraphy for a Hugh Jackman interview, or for example he has also made another proposal for London craft beer, Kidney Punch. One of his most recent projects has been the design of different posters for the Fallas of this 2017, work that has been done together with Luis Demano.
In addition, Joan Quirós also offers typography workshops, similar to the one that will carry out here, but in cities like Valencia or Oslo.
